Description
In Focus is a sumptuously illustrated collection of rare and previously unseen photographs chronicling the life and career of one of Doctor Who‘s best-loved icons, Anneke Wills.
We have 15 copies of the 2012 hardback edition, unnumbered and unsigned for only £19.99 each plus postage.
Originally released in May 2012 as a limited edition hardback, the original print run sold out within weeks and became an instant collector’s item.
Presented over more than a hundred pages are a plethora of intimate family portraits, and images from classic series such as The Avengers, Strange Report, The Saint and, of course, Doctor Who, in which she played the trail-blazing first sexy assistant, Polly.
With contributions from a wide selection of colleagues and friends.
“Working with Anneke on the hardback edition of In Focus was great fun; we unearthed so much material, but space was limited and unfortunately we were forced to leave some gems out. The paperback has given us the opportunity to put a lot more photos in, and the excuse to have another new photo shoot! I think one of the highlights of this new edition is a shot of Anneke in full flow on the Aldermaston march – it’s a real moment of history, and there she is, living it, captured on film!” Paul W.T.
