New Audio Titles

We are thrilled to announce we have released three new audio books from the Spokenworld catalogue.

First up, is an adaptation of Tennesse William’s Cat on a Hot Tim Roof as originally broadcast on BBC 3 starring Joss Ackland and Gemma Jones, presented here for the first time on CD, priced £10.99.

Next, we have new drama in the shape of Kim Newman’s Cry Babies – which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 starring Alex Jennings, Natasha Little, Rupert Degas and Sarah Douglas. Set in the near-future, cryo-genesis is perfected. Now, busy, professional couples no longer put off having children but have the kids young, then, they put the new-borns on ice until they’re ready to make space in their lives to become parents. The single CD release is priced £8.99.

And last but no least, Emmy award winning actor David Warner narrates Oliver Twist in an abridged version for BBC Radio 2. Presented over two discs, the audio book is priced £10.99.

In other news, both The Forgotten Fields and The Progress Road written and read by Geoffrey Beevers have been released on CD, and the second book in a new series of Fu Manchu audios has also been released on CD and download.
