New Title Tuesday: New Talking Classic Releases

New additions to the Talking Classics range announced, including a six disc collection of the Bronte Sisters’ greatest stories.

For the past few years we have presented 72 titles from the famous range of audio titles, however today we shall be releasing number 73! Considered a masterpiece, Kipps is H.G.Wells’ humorous and sympathetic novel about a simple soul trapped by circumstance. Read here by Christopher Timothy.

Orphaned at an early age and raised by his aunt and uncle, Artie Kipps is stunned to learn upon reading a newspaper advertisement that he is the grandson of a wealthy gentleman – and the inheritor of his fortune.
Thrown dramatically into the upper classes, he struggles desperately to learn the etiquette and rules of polite society. But as he soon discovers, becoming a ‘true gentleman’ is neither as easy nor as desirable as it at first appears.

This abridged double CD set is priced £9.99 and available exclusively from the Fantom website until May.

The Bronte Sisters Collection features three tales from the pen of Emily, Charlotte and Anne in a brand new set. This six disc pack includes Wuthering Heights, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall & Jane Eyre read by Hannah Gordon, Carole Boyd and David Rintoul.

The Bronte Sisters Collection is priced £19.99 and available exclusively from the Fantom website prior till its trade release in May.
