Price Crash – Who Talk: The Enemy of the World
Until Saturday 10th February we will be exclusively slashing the price of our very first Who Talk commentary release! Covering the rediscovered Doctor Who classic The Enemy of the World featuring the much missed Deborah Watling and hosted by Toby Hadoke.
“This is where it all started for the Who Talk range, three years ago when we set out to record commentaries for both The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear,” says producer Paul W.T. Ballard. “Deborah was the first person we asked to join us; she said she didn’t know what I was talking about, but to let her know the time and the studio address and she would be there. She was so supportive and a great friend, so it’s a joy to still be able to hear her on this release.”
Thought lost for 45 years, tapes of the 1967 Doctor Who story The Enemy of the World were discovered in Africa, and returned in 2013. Now, for the first time, the cast and crew involved in the production reflect on these episodes in six brand new commentaries.
Moderated by comedian and cult television expert Toby Hadoke, this release features Deborah Watling (Victoria Waterfield), Mary Peach (Astrid Ferrier), Carmen Munroe (Fariah), Milton Johns (Benik), Bill Lyons (Guard on Denes) and Sylvia James (Make-Up).
The CD release is available for £6.99 (plus postage) and download for only £5.99.
A brand new Who Talk release will be revealed at the end of the month!
