Fright 4: Thirteen
Our fourth fright offer is a collection of stories called Thirteen from a variety of different readers and authors.
In early 20th Century England Hamilton James Macaulay relates the tale of how he found himself in a Scarborough Bric-a-brac shop. The owner of the shop has thirteen long playing records that each contain a hidden track at the end, that tell strange tales of future times. These thirteen tales of terror will change Hamilton James Macaulay’s life forever and he will leave the shop a murderer.
Inspired by the popular portmanteau horror films of the sixties and seventies, such as Dr Terror’s House of Horrors and Tales from the Crypt, these stories come from a number of different authors and are read by a selection of different actors, including Arthur Darvill, Frances Barber, Lalla Ward and Samuel West.
