There’s a duo of frights on offer from our Talking Classics range read by Anthony Valentine and Martin Shaw!

The Picture of Dorian Gray is a gothic novel, written by Oscar Wilde, and concerns the story of Dorian, who sells his soul to ensure that he remains young; whilst his portrait ages and decays. It is read by Martin Shaw, best known for his appearances in The Professionals and Inspector George Gently.

Dracula is one of the best known horror stories of all time. Published in 1897, and written by Bram Stoker, it has been the subject of countless screen adaptations around the world, and has had a huge influence on the horror genre. It is read by Anthony Valentine, best known to television viewers for his roles in Callan and Colditz.
